So…what you can also do is come out on Sunday…casting is over two days and either day is great. And don’t worry about time commitment bc I’ll get you through it in an hour or so…
So now you don’t have to worry about the casting being tomorrow…
Now…the app shouldn’t take more than an hour to fill out…just rip through it with one or two word answers…that’s not the major part of our casting process. Really, if you just fill out the first page and sign the thing, we can figure out the rest.

As for your physical portfolio, just bring a few examples…we don’t need everything. You could get by on a handful of pieces- 5 to 10. I mean, I went to platformgallery.com and found a lot of stuff. Can you just do screen grabs, save them as pdfs, put them on a cd/dvd and be good to go? Honestly…that’s all it takes…Just bring a laptop so the judges can take a look. (The gallery might even have wifi to bring up the website.)
So now you don’t have to worry about your digital and physical portfolio…
As long as you are the one signing your application, I think you should follow your instinct and do what you’re doing. I don’t know how the judges will feel about it and I don’t know if they’ll like what you described, but for what it’s worth, I think it’s interesting and I would love to see it. So would my co-producer.
